San Diego, CA  and Richmond, VT – September 4, 2025 – Greensea IQ, a leader in advanced robotic and autonomy solutions for the maritime and defense sectors, today announced the opening of a new, larger facility in San Diego, California, marking a significant expansion of its West Coast operations.

This strategic move highlights Greensea IQ’s commitment to the San Diego region and strengthens its ability to serve US Navy and Marine Corps contracts fully.  The new facility is close to Navy Base Point Loma and offers manufacturing space as well as a training room.  Greensea has also increased office area for software development staff as the team continues to grow in support of several autonomy programs with US DoD.

“San Diego is a critical hub for maritime defense innovation, and our expanded presence here reflects our long-term investment in supporting warfighters with the best tools for subsea and surf zone operations,” said Ben Kinnaman, CEO of Greensea IQ. “This new space enables us to deliver even greater service to our West Coast customers by providing the facilities needed for direct service, repair, and maintenance.  It is also just a few minutes away from the waterfront and gives us the classroom space needed for training.”

Greensea is also expanding EverClean operations onto the West Coast, beginning with the US Navy out of San Diego.  EverClean is Greensea’s pioneering proactive maintenance service for ships using small autonomous robots and a comprehensive data platform.  Greensea’s new facility in San Diego allows depot-level support for EverClean customers in Southern California with cleaning and inspection contracts.

As part of the expansion, Greensea IQ has welcomed two new team members to the San Diego office: Natalie Doehla, Junior Robotics Engineer, and Bradley Keith, Sr. Solutions Manager – Bayonet. The location will continue to host Greensea’s software team focused on defense product development, reinforcing the company’s mission to deliver scalable autonomy solutions for the most challenging marine environments.
