Job Description

The EverClean Robotics Technician will specialize in the repair and maintenance of EverClean robotic systems and components, with primary responsibility for managing and executing Return Material Authorization (RMA) repairs. This role is critical in ensuring fielded systems remain operational, reliable, and ready for deployment. In addition to owning the RMA process, the technician will support the production team as needed, assisting with system builds, testing, and integration activities.

The successful candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. They should be capable of navigating shifting priorities and balancing repair demands with production support needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the RMA repair process for EverClean robotic systems and components, ensuring timely turnaround and high-quality outcomes.
  • Diagnose, repair, and test robotic subsystems, electronics, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair actions, root cause findings, and corrective measures.
  • Assist in production builds of subsea and surface robotic systems when required.
  • Support engineering teams with troubleshooting, prototype evaluation, and system testing.
  • Contribute to documentation updates, including repair procedures, QA/QC notes, and build instructions.
  • Maintain compliance with IPC standards and Greensea IQ quality practices.
  • Participate as a collaborative member of the production and service teams, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • All other responsibilities as reasonably assigned.

Requirements

  • Technical schooling preferred. Candidates with equivalent work experience with demonstrable skills may be considered.
  • 5–7 years related experience in electronics, robotics, or electromechanical repair.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair at both the component and system level.
  • Working knowledge of electrical schematics and diagrams. Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, multimeters, and related test equipment.
  • Familiarity with software integration into hardware and functionality testing post-repair. Knowledge of Linux, firmware flashing, and test beds preferred.
  • IPC-certified (soldering, electronics assembly).
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints and perform precision assembly.
  • Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, documentation skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Positive, adaptable attitude with a commitment to meeting operational and customer needs.
